Confirmation is a 5-week class, from March 10 to April 14 (taking March 24 off) that gives middle and high school students the opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a deeper way in order to affirm their belief among the church and community. Taught by the pastors at Saint Peter's, students will learn about church history, Anglicanism, and the foundational creeds of the faith. Students will also grow deeper in their devotional life through daily scripture reading and prayer. At least one parent is asked to attend. The class will take place on Sundays evenings from 5:00-6:00 in the Red Shed and students are expected to attend all 5 weeks in order to complete the course. Please contact Charlotte Walpole to sign up for this class in advance.
Our Men's Advance will take place April 20-22 at Camp St. Christopher on Seabrook Island. It will be a weekend of rest, challenging teaching, and growth in relationships and discipleship. We are excited to announce that starting March 10, we will be moving to two services. As we've taken a look back over the last several years, we have continued to grow in all areas, especially in our Sunday morning attendance. As a response to this growth, we see huge potential for our church community so we want to begin to make space for others. Our desire to is have space to invite our neighbors, friends and coworkers, families and children, and to have space for more opportunities to serve, and grow deeper. As we do life with others, we want to have a place where we can invite them into community, to connect with each other and with Jesus. Beginning March 10, our service times will be 9:15 and 11:00 a.m. Together, let's open wide our sanctuary doors and make space for those we do life with.
If you are not currently serving in a Sunday morning ministry and are willing to begin to serve as we move to two services, please email Abby Price.
The season of Lent reminds us that we are dust and to dust we shall return. For 40 days we are encouraged to set aside time for reflection and penitence as we are led on a journey with Christ to the cross (and to our joyous Easter celebration). Ash Wednesday, March 6, marks the beginning of the season of Lent. On this day, we’re offering a service at 6:30 p.m. to collectively focus our hearts and minds on Christ. Please contact Ashley for childcare.

Our 7th Annual Father Daughter Dance will be Friday, February 8, at 6:30 p.m. Fathers, grandfathers and other significant father figures will take time out to spend with their favorite little girl and show her how a gentleman treats a lady! All proceeds will benefit our student missions through Soul in the City this summer, as we equip and encourage students to serve our local community. This year’s registration has been closed. Alpha is a series of forums exploring the Christian faith. Each forum looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. It runs in cafés, churches, universities, homes—you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a talk on some aspect of the Christian faith and good conversation.
Alpha is for everyone; no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome.
