Women's Christmas Tea

Ladies, we hope you’ll plan to enjoy the Christmas season with the women of Saint Peters! All women are invited for a fun, festive time as we gather at the home of Pam Bishop on Sunday, December 9 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Please stop by for a cup of hot tea and fellowship. If you know of any new women attending our church, please reach out to them and invite them, as well! For location information, please contact Pam Bishop.

Christmas is the season of giving and, for those who attend, we are requesting you bring baby gifts to put around Pam’s tree to help supply the Lowcountry Pregnancy Center (LPC) store. This ministry offers alternatives and support to girls seeking to terminate their pregnancies. The store at LPC allows mothers to earn baby bucks that they can redeem to purchase needed supplies for their babies. We would love for you to bring a gift for the store (ie: baby clothes, diaper wipes, diapers, bottles, etc.) but if you cannot no worries, please come to the Christmas Tea anyway! We hope to see you there!

Alpha

Alpha is a series of forums exploring the Christian faith. Each forum looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. It runs in cafés, churches, universities, homes—you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a talk on some aspect of the Christian faith and good conversation.

Alpha is for everyone; no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome.

September 26 through November 15, we will be meeting in small groups in homes and in the Shed at the Church. These groups will meet in the morning and evening. If you would like more information about these groups, the time of day they meet, or anything else that is on your mind, please email Kristy Cuthbert for all the details.
