Radical generosity is a key mark of the people of God. From the very beginning, men and women have been entrusted with time, money, and possession to faithfully steward them on God’s behalf. God gave to them, and they were called to use what was given to bless others. In the Old Testament, Israel is called to give a tithe, ten percent of all their increase. In the book of Acts, we see the newly formed Church giving over and above the Old Testament standard. They sold their possessions and gave to anyone as they had need (Acts 2:45). For Christians on this side of the cross, generosity is the only logical response to the sacrifice given on our behalf.

Four Ways to Give

easyTithe is a wonderful new app that will make giving to Saint Peter’s convenient and simple!

Just go to the app store on your phone and upload the easyTithe app. Enter “Saint Peters Church” (without the apostrophe) and add “29466” for the zip code. You will be prompted to set up an account. The whole process takes just a few minutes.

Once the app is on your phone, you can easily and securely make one-time payments, recurring payments and special designated gifts. You can even register and pay for special events. We encourage you to download this app today!

Like the early Church, Saint Peter’s seeks to be a community committed to giving sacrificially with not only our money, but also of our time and talents. Saint Peter’s does this by seeking to faithfully steward our resources to increase the Kingdom of God. Through the staff and ministries of Saint Peter’s, our resources go toward proclaiming the gospel in word and deed in our community of Mount Pleasant. Through local ministries, such as Low Country Orphan Relief and Pink Bus Ministry, our resources go toward loving the poor and destitute across our city. Our resources help our missionaries in Honduras and Haiti to proclaim the good news of Jesus in word and deed. In all things, Saint Peter’s seeks to be a faithful steward of all that God has entrusted to us. We ask you to prayerfully consider this same call to faithful stewardship.

Financial Commitments

Giving is the overflow of a grateful heart, but it also takes planning. At Saint Peter’s, we ask our members and regular attenders to make an annual, financial commitment. This allows us to wisely plan our budgets and spending. Please consider making a commitment by filling out an online form. For questions or comments regarding the finances of Saint Peter’s, please contact church offices.
