Children’s Ministry

SP Blog Photos_0002_Screenshot 2014-04-29 09.10.43At Saint Peter’s, we care deeply for children and families.  Our staff and volunteer leaders seek to create a safe and exciting environment where children can grow in knowledge and relationship with Jesus. Because we believe that this call goes far beyond Sundays, we are passionate about equipping you to teach your children about Christ. By God’s grace, we are confident that together, we can help our kids know Jesus.

Sunday Mornings

Come to our Check in Center, where our team will be ready to help you check in, walk your child to their classroom, and answer any questions you may have.  All Sprout (Babies through 4 year olds) children go immediately into their classrooms for a time of fellowship, study, worship and prayer.  Our Kids’ Club (K5 through 5th Grade) children will check in, receive a name tag and then will join parents for the opening portion of worship, before being led out by the procession of the cross.   While in Kids’ Club, our children have an opportunity to meet in small groups for a time of study, fellowship and prayer.  After a fun time of worship together in Kids’ Club, our children ages 3 to 5th grade will join their parents for communion and worship in the sanctuary.

Plan to Attend Regularly? Fill out our Family Registration Form to streamline the check in process for your family.

We realize that many parents wrestle with the question of when to have their children begin taking communion. If that’s you, please read through our policy on children and Communion. If you have any questions or need any additional resources, please contact Ashley DeMooney.

If you’re interested in having your child baptized at Saint Peter’s, please fill out this form. We will process your information and get you information on Baptism classes and schedules.
